The average stay in the detention center is approximately 30 days. However, depending on their sentence, inmates can spend a longer period of time in the detention center. With few exceptions, inmates would spend no more than 1 year at the Rockwall County Detention Center.

The Seagoville TX Police Jail is a short-term police lock-up located at 600 North Hwy 175 in Seagoville, TX. It serves as the holding facility for the Seagoville Police Department or agencies within the judicial district of Kaufman, Dallas County.
